I am a not-quite-student and a not-quite-newlywed living in not-quite-Toronto with my entirely-lovely husband. I started knitting garter-stitch scarves in 2004 and have been making the rest up as I go along. My recent discovery of knitting blogs has simultaneously inspired and shamed me into stretching my skills (not to mention my credit card), but I could never hold a grudge against them for it! By strict definition, I am a fibre snob, but only because the beauty of handspun/handpainted yarns make me slightly weak. However, I’m also a huge fan of amigurumi, which is all about the acrylics, so I guess I believe that every yarn has its place.
